Please note for bookings of more than 8 people, you can request private cooking classes at MaMa Florence, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  Your second day continues in the afternoon, when you'll meet with your English-speaking expert art historian guide in an easy-to-reach location for an Orientation Walking Tour of the top sites in Florence.  Your personable guide will be happy to give you feedback on interesting things to see and delicious places to dine out, while introducing you to this magnificent city.  Your tour will conclude with your prebooked tickets allowing you to skip the lines snaking around the Accademia and enjoy a guided viewing of the world-famous David sculpture.

Day 3 - Florence Market and Gourmet Walk and Uffizi Day

Meet with your English-speaking expert guide in the morning for a tour through one of Florence's bustling outdoor or indoor food markets.  Your guide will teach you about locally-grown and produced Tuscan foods like fresh-from-the-farm fruits and vegetables, aged wine vinegars, extra-virgin olive oil, fresh, aged and ripened cheeses, meats, and much more.  Your tour includes guided visits to several gourmet food shops or cafes to learn and taste more.

Your private guide will leave you at a great local restaurant for a tasty lunch.  Following lunch, you can pick up your prebooked tickets for the Uffizi museum where you can enjoy the most impressive art Florence has to offer at your own pace.

Day 4 - Chianti Full-Day Wine Tour

The full-day Chianti Wine Tour begins with your private pick-up in the morning with a fun, friendly English-speaking driver with luxury vehicle.  You'll head out into the beautiful Chianti countryside, with  your first stop to a magnificent Chianti castle.  Here, your English-speaking winery expert will lead you through an informative, interesting wine tour through the historic cellars. You'll learn about classic Chianti wine production, and conclude this first stop with a guided tasting of their top-rated Chianti wines.

Your next stop will be for your booking at either a Michelin-starred or more casual local restaurant (please let us know your preference) where you can enjoy a delicious lunch before taking a stroll through a charming Chianti village like Greve in Chianti or Castellina in Chianti.  After your lunch and exploration in Chianti, your private tour continues with a guided visit to a second Chianti winery.  Here you'll enjoy another wine-tasting experience while you contrast winemaking techniques with your morning visit.  Your full-day will wind down in the late afternoon when your driver returns to your hotel in Florence.

Day 5 - Cooking Class at MaMa Florence and Tuscan Wine Class with Wine expert at MaMa

Enjoy your second cooking lesson at MaMa Florence, to take place in the morning with a wonderful English-speaking professional chef.  Your menu for this course will focus on a different theme, and could include a focus on seasonal dishes, or meat-based dishes, or seafood, or vegetarian Florentine cuisine. After preparing the day's menu, you'll enjoy another incredible seated lunch of your prepared dishes, accompanied with excellent regional wine, water, and coffee.

After a brief break, you will continue learning about Italy's amazing local wines with a 2-hour class focusing on either Super Tuscan or Brunello wines.  Your instructor for the course is an amazing English-speaking wine expert known throughout the country for their expertise in teaching about wines and tasting fine wines!  Your class includes tastings of 6 different wines and instructions on the basics of wine-tasting.  Take your wine knowledge to the next level (please let us know your wine knowledge-level upon booking as the course can be geared to accommodate any level)!

Day 6 - San Gimignano, Saffron Farm Lunch and Vernaccia White Wine Tour

Your full-day exploration of the San Gimigano area begins when your English-speaking private driver collects you in the morning.  Your first stop will be to the stunning town of San Gimignano with its impressive medieval towers.  You will have time to stroll through the charming town, visit churches and museums, and do some shopping in the city's center before meeting back up with your driver.  From here, you'll drive out to the marvelous countryside surrounding San Gimignano.

You will then enjoy a wonderful lunch hosted and prepared in a nearby farmhouse specializing in the production of organic saffron, extra-virgin olive oil, and aromatic herbs.  Your delicious lunch will consist of freshly-prepared appetizers, pasta dish, dessert, all paired with divine local Chianti or Vernaccia wine, water, and espresso.  At least one dish will feature the famed saffron produced on the farm, and worth more than its weight in gold!  Your full-day wine tour continues with a visit to an organic Vernaccia winery for a guided visit of the estate, followed by an expertly-led tasting of their top-rated Vernaccia wines produced locally.  Your private driver will return you to your hotel in Florence later in the afternoon.
