My group of 3 took this tour, departing from Venice. The tour was amazing, we visited two wineries staffed by the friendliest staff we'd met yet during out stay in Veneto. We enjoyed an amazing lunch of healthy food all freshly prepared by the restaurant our tour included. If you are in Venice or in the area, this is a must! Our driver was very personable and spoke excellent English. He was a wealth of knowledge about the area and wine. I highly recommend Le Baccanti tour company, great job.

A local English-speaking private chauffeur picks you in Venice* in the morning, and your day of Prosecco wine tastings and discovery begins. You will be driven through the verdant hills to your first stop of the day: a small family-run estate with scenic, steep vineyards where Prosecco grapes are grown. Here, the grapes are lovingly tended to by hand via the winery owner, who is particularly watchful of the 100-year-old vineyards passed on by the original founding owner of the estate. Your Venice Prosecco Wine Tour ensures that you'll be the cantina's personal guest, touring the estate and tasting the currently released wines that will surely wow your palate and create new Prosecco wine sensations.
Your luxury tour continues with a visit to the small medieval hamlet of Follina, with its beautiful 12th century Cistercian Abbey. Follina in a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious lunch of local specialties before proceeding to your second winery. Following your traditional lunch, your private driver will bring you to a larger, state-of-the-art winery, you'll learn first-hand why some of the current winemakers in the region have left bigger cities in their past, and followed their passion for wine to the captivating lands of Valdobbiadene. During a tasting of this winery's Prosecco, you will begin to understand about Prosecco's many variations and styles, and can compare these wines with the previously tasted (and enjoyed!) Prosecco wines.
Just north from Venice lies a land of lush, rolling, green hills where wine has been dating back to Roman times. Here in the Valdobbiadene region, Prosecco DOC is produced in the shadow of the mighty Dolomite mountains. This white, sparkling wine is perhaps the most well-known Italian vino frizzante and is the star of numerous local apertivi, classic Italian before-dinner drinks.
Any other goods or services not listed above. We strive to ensure private visits at the wineries, however in particularly busy times of the year or in certain wineris this may not always be possible. If you want guaranteed private visits, please get in touch for a customized quote.
