Soave Wine Tour Program
After your friendly English-speaking driver meets you at your accommodations, your day of experiencing the Soave wine region begins. First up on your itinerary is the town of Soave, with its marvelous castle fortress that dates back to the 10th century. Here you'll visit one of the most important Soave wineries of the region, located directly in the historic town center. You'll enjoy a guided tasting of the estate's excellent current releases and learn more about how Soave is produced. Next on the agenda is the town of Vicenza, a UNESCO World Heritage site, filled with striking palazzi (palaces) which are the legacy of 16th century architect Andrea Palladio. Here you will have time to sit and enjoy a leisurely lunch of the area's specialties in a wonderful local restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit your second winery of the day. At this winery you will have a chance to taste Soave wine in a different style, deepening your appreciation of this white wine and helping you to understand the terroir.

Soave wine is produced from the native Garganega grape in the green hills northeast of Verona, a land of dominating castles and luxurious villas.
