TESTIMONIALS
I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to respond. We are still in such awe of our trip to Rome. I have to say that all 4 of us would love to do it all over again. David cannot wait to go back to Italy...hopefully within the next couple of years. The children also had such a wonderful experience that I believe they will never forget. The tours you arranged could not have been any better...the guides were all excellent and made the tours so enjoyable for all of us! The hotel was terrific. I could go on. If I know anyone going to Italy I will pass on your name. Thank you for making our trip such a wonderful experience and I hope to be in touch soon!!! (Very soon!) -Barbie Halseth

Vatican and St. Peter's Tour Program

The Vatican is the center of Catholic religious life and your private guided visit to this mystic, religious, spiritual, artistic and historical treasure will leave you in wonder and awe. Your friendly local Roman guide, specializing in art and history, will meet you at a central point in Rome near the Vatican. The Vatican is the smallest sovereign state in the world, at just over 100 acres, and has less than 1000 inhabitants. Over the past millennium, the Catholic church and its Popes have been amassing amazing works of art within its walls. In fact, the Vatican collections contain endless paintings and sculptures of incredible importance. View the Sistine Chapel with your expert guide, where you can see Michelangelo's The Last Judgment, as well as the other stunning works of art by other renowned artists. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and truly understand the Vatican from an insiders perspective. From there you will continue through the Vatican museums, viewing sculptures, painting and other works of art that will take your breath away.

After the museums, you will visit St. Peter's Basilica, where the current Pope, Benedict XVI, gives mass. The Basilica is impressive for its immense size, beautiful golden light and many famous works of art, most importantly Michelangelo's Pieta (Piety) . It is said to have been built on the site of St. Peter's grave.
