Pasta Making Class with Wilma Program Wilma's pasta making class is held in a small fresh pasta shop in a Chianti village, halfway between Florence and Siena. Under her expert native guidance you will learn all there is to know about how to make fresh pasta. You will knead, cut, roll and fill ravioli, gnocchi, tagliatelle, spaghetti, fusilli or other varieties. Her recipes are all based on freshness, high quality of ingredients, tradition and, most of all, Wilma's long experience. Her filled pastas, with their enticing aromas and colors, are unforgettable. Wilma's outgoing personality and smiles of encouragement will ensure a day of fun and new skills. She will explain the more technical aspects of pasta preparation so that you can make pasta on your own in the future. After the class is done, it is time to sit down for lunch and enjoy the pasta you have created together. Lunch includes several different kinds of pasta and sauces, wine, water and a delicious typical dessert. This class is fun for adults and also highly recommended for kids! Pasta Expert Wilma's Profile Wilma owns and runs a fresh pasta shop in a small Chianti town half way between Florence and Siena. A native Tuscan, Wilma has been making pasta for decades. She learned to make pasta from the older Tuscan generation and is determined to save this wonderful pasta making tradition for the next generation. She believes the best way to do this is to teach as many people as possible the secrets and fun of making pasta from scratch.   What's Included in Your Pasta Making Class Hands-on pasta cooking lesson with local Tuscan pasta expert in the Chianti (approx. 3 hours including class and lunch). Lunch of prepared pasta together. Lunch includes several of the pasta dishes you have created together with sauces, wine, water and a typical Tuscan dessert. What's Not Included in Your Pasta Making Class Transportation to the class is not included. The pasta shop is easily reached by public transportation or rental car from Florence (approx. 45 minutes). After making your reservation, the shop address will be sent to you with your confirmation voucher.
