Her cars are Mercedes or Jaguar sedans and minivans and, needless to say, she has a strong passion for wine and loves to share it with visitors! Upon booking this tour, you will indicate to Silvia which wine region interests you most. She will pick you up in the morning at your place of stay and take you to your chosen wine region to a charming village to see the sights and shop for local specialties and handicrafts. You will then visit a fine winery rated highly by the most influential European and American wine publications, in an historic villa or castle. You will taste the winery's current releases, and as you visit the ancient cellars and the villa the winery owner or guide will introduce you to the world of wine and wine-making, its history and legends. By this time you'll be ready for a tasty lunch at the winery overlooking the countryside, or in a very good local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit another excellent family-run winery.
