The class in venice was really good. Of all the market tour and cooking classes we could have done, this was great as we got to see the fish markets where alot of produce was still alive it is so fresh. In the end we did 3 classes, 2 with your company and one with our accommodation in tuscany. If we had not done these classes we would not have been inside the homes of locals, see how they live, and even meet their daughters, which is an experience we very much valued. We also have mastered pasta and gnocci, things we had tried at home but just couldn't get right, and got some very good inspiration from the dishes we cooked. We were especially stoked about learning to cook with artichokes- we did them in 3 different ways over the classes, we had bought them in australia but did not know any dishes to create with them, and the cooks also chatted and gave us alot of additional information and ideas for recipes. Because of customs and baggage restrictions we could not bring much back to australia in the way of food and wine from our trip, but these are things we will bring back and remember, and cook for our families and friends.
Both Patrizia and Isabella were lovely and great teachers. We look forward to the recipes of patrizia.

Venice Cooking Class and Market Walk with Isabella - Culinary Program
After meeting up with Isabella in a central Venetian location you will stroll together through the beautiful, vibrant and eye-catching Rialto food market. Isabella will point out regional specialties and products including fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, meats and cheeses that will get your mouth watering! Together you will purchase the seasonal ingredients for the cooking class to follow and will walk the short distance to Isabella's home. Her charming home is the perfect environment to learn how real Venetians cook in their homes. Isabella is not a professional chef, but a true food lover with 20 years of experience cooking for her friends and family in her home. Isabella has been working in the tourist industry for decades and loves to explain Venetian food traditions and typical Venetian cuisine to visitors to her unique city. In this fun and relaxed setting (she even has two cats who love to greet you upon entering!) you will cook beside Isabella to prepare a full Venetian meal before sitting down to enjoy the delicious dishes you now know how to create. The meal is accompanied by fantastic local wines. |

Transportation to meet up point near the Rialto Bridge is not included. The address for the easy-to-find meeting point in Venice city center near the Rialto bridge will be sent to you upon completion of your booking.
