This wine spends 6 months in specially designed stainless steel vats designed by Graziano that stir the wine continuously. Once drained the wine is left in the steel vats for another year, before spending 6-7 months bottled. Less suggestive, but with more restrained mineral notes and a particularly buttery feel to the nose. In the mouth there is lot more tension than expected, finished with lemon and aniseed.Pr Soave Classico Doc Monte Grande 2009Grown over five hectares on a hill at 300m. Intense perfumes on the nose of cloves and bergamot with a sweet and sour contrast combined with absolute drinkability. A dense wine with an extraordinary flavor of mature fruit. A deep perfume, rounded and with a silky feel that stretches to a slightly uncommon tange, gutsy, racy and with a lemon fresh finish typical of the best Trebbiano wines of the Soave.Pr Morandina Valpolicella Superiore 2009 (open for three days) Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone.Intense ruby and violet. Peppery nose, with notes of blackberry, spices and medicinal herbs. Equipped with a lovely aroma and complex power that has the effect of generating spontaneous salivation! Succulent juicy wine, with a perfect tannin balance. The notes of viola and a crisp stoned fruit with bite. There is the taste of ripe blackberry. This wine is dangerously drinkable, and both aggressive, and bold. Dont be afraid of the small price (about 10 a bottle) because this is a wine with big aging potential. For now this is my Christmas 2011 wine choice!!! Pr Morandina Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso 2009 (open for three days) Again we find a mix of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone with about three weeks longer to mature. Hints of ripe prune, dense aromas of wild cherry wild cherry drenched in alcohol. The alcohol on the palate is stronger than that of the nose. Serve with cheese, or a rich casserole to absorb the power in this dense and muscular wine - possibly too power...Pra Amarone della Valpolicella 2007 (open for three days) Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and 10% Oseleta.Aromas of wild strawberry jam, hibiscus and again Valpolicella pepper.Hints of wild herbs. Violet color that seems less powerful than it actually is. In the mouth: dense notes of dried prunes, chocolate and raisins, tannins that balance the overall structure and the wine finishes off with tobacco and leather. A savory Wine, almost salty to offset the natural extract 4 4.
